On the 17th December 2022, Pasifika Medical Association (PMA) deployed a Medical Assistance Team (PACMAT) to Niue to assist the island with their current Covid-19 outbreak.
Since the team have been in-country, they have supported 75 individuals at Niue Foou Hospital, provided medical support to 66 individuals, administered 120 PCR tests and provided Covid-19 support to 10 individuals.
A second PACMAT team is preparing to deploy to Niue on the 31st of December 2022 to continue providing support to the Niue health workforce.
